A week later than it should’ve been (personal reasons stopped me weighing in last weeks) but this week was yet another success!
Week 1: 3.5lb
Week 3: 3.0lb
Total: 6.5lb
6.5lb is a much higher loss over a 3 week period than I’ve had in a long time so long may it continue!

It’s official. I hate sunburn!
I sat out in the sun for about 3 or 4 hours on Saturday, covered in suncream and I’m so burnt it’s actually ridiculous.
I want to run but can’t through pain which is quite annoying. As soon as I’m not sore, you just try and stop me running :)
A few years ago I went to UK theme park Alton Towers and was too big to fasten the seats safely so I couldn’t go on any rides. To save embarrassment, I just used to say “I don’t like rides” and it would get me off with not having to go on them.
As time went on and I kept saying it, I kidded myself into believing that when in actual fact, I had no idea if I would love or hate them.
Roll on today, when I’m 5 stone lighter and I went to that same theme park with my better, I mean other, half. I tried the first seat and success, it closed with space left :)
Today I’ve faced my fears and been on 5 of the biggest coasters at Alton Towers and loved every second of every one.
If that isn’t a major non scale victory, in doing something that was a complete impossibility all those years ago, then I really don’t know what is.
Here’s to the next theme park.
And if they weren’t an utter rip off, I’d consider buying them but £25+ is a joke for 5 photos so I’m just ripping the freebies for now. I just wish I had better quality for comparison against last year.




First repeat run done!
This time last year was my first ever 10k and it was 1:22. Did the same course today in 1:08. Not a bad improvement in 12 months :)
